I’m still high on adrenalin writing this post. I went outside to check on Peter and Paul and could see that Mama Bird was not too thrilled to see me there. She just buzzed around making sure I got the message without taking her eyes off me.

So I honored her sentiment and went in the bedroom, camera in hand and shot these pics to share with you…mama bird feeding her babies!! The photos are not that clear because I had to take them from behind the windows…but you get the picture!

This all happened within 10 seconds! Just amazing to see!
Well done Mrs Attenborough!
How cute! Seems like Peter and Paul are keeping you quite busy! 🙂 Love the pictures!!
They are!! I’m just so glad for digital cameras 🙂
I am so impressed with all your photos! When I stopped by the other day, Mama bird buzzed and flew away, reminding me of the nest, so i had to see it for myself and I was so surprised at how teeny it is! I was also very nervous about getting too close and having Mama attack me (you know how much I love birds), so I did not muster up enough courage to peek into the nest 🙂 therefore I am doubly pleased your are documenting and sharing! Thank you!
I’m so happy that this brings as much pleasure to you as it does me! I think we have a few more exciting days ahead and my camera won’t rest until then 🙂
WOW….Amazing!!
They are growing so fast…I don’t think it will be long before they fly the coop…:(
They’re amazing. I’m surprised you even got him hold still! I tried doing that at a park and fixed the lens on a particular leaf and still only managed a split-of-a-second shot.
Excellent photos.
Thank you Margaret…it was a phase I was going through at the time. Had just gotten a brand new camera and sad to say, I haven’t touched it in a while. Funny how these things work. Maybe come Spring, I’ll be moved by the colours in the garden and reach for that camera again:)
